HSV-1 and HSV-2. Urine PCR.

Syphilis + Trichomoniasis

Treponema pallidum and Trichomonas vaginalis. Urine PCR.

Mycoplasmas

M. genitalium, M. hominis, U. urealyticum, U. parvum. Urine PCR.

What this module is

A complete sexual health screen, without leaving home.

This module combines a blood sample and a urine sample to screen for the most relevant sexually transmitted infections. It includes HIV, Hepatitis B, Syphilis, Gonorrhoea, Chlamydia, Trichomoniasis, Herpes (HSV-1 and HSV-2), Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma.

A clear report is planned, with an explanation of results and guidance on next steps. The reviewer, referral protocol and privacy safeguards will be published before enrolment opens.

Urine PCR testing screens 11 of the 13 agents with greater sensitivity than traditional rapid tests.
