Thyroid

FT4 and T3 complement the base panel's TSH for a complete functional thyroid assessment.

Availability and terms confirmed at launch

The thyroid goes beyond
TSH.

The base panel already includes TSH. However, a normal TSH does not rule out functional thyroid dysfunction. The conversion of T4 into active T3 and the T3 values themselves are key to a complete assessment.

This module adds FT4 and T3, complementing the base panel's TSH for a complete functional thyroid assessment.

When symptoms don't match the results.

Recommended for anyone with fatigue, unexplained weight gain, hair loss, cold sensitivity, constipation or low mood, even with TSH within the normal range.

Especially relevant in women, in cases of a family history of thyroid disease, or after pregnancy.

What's included

FT4 (Free Thyroxine)
A thyroid pro-hormone converted to T3 in the tissues. Assesses the secretory capacity of the gland.
T3 (Triiodothyronine)
The active form of thyroid hormone. Affects metabolism, energy and body temperature.
Report with functional interpretation
Presented together with the base panel's TSH and the applicable laboratory reference intervals.
Timing confirmed before collection
Laboratory workflow and delivery timing will be confirmed before enrolment opens.
